Dogs of all shapes & sizes are welcomed at Eastern Hills Vet. We love our canine friends, & never cease to be amazed by the endless range of personalities & quirks they possess. We strive to practise high quality, individual medicine - as our dogs deserve.
We use our spaces
We have an indoor waiting room near reception, and an outdoor alfresco ‘chill out zone’ for those pets that need some space (or just like the fresh air).
We frequently make use of our beautiful grounds, enclosed yard and gardens for canine comfort.
We also have a secure atrium to house some of our bigger patients, or dogs that do not cope in cages.
Timing can be everything
If you think your dog is best suited to being seen at quiet times of the day; is not dog or cat friendly; or might just need some extra time –please talk to our staff on booking so we can make a plan together.
Their comfort is our priority
Our hospital ward is climate controlled for patient comfort. It is equipped with patient monitoring equipment, fluid pumps & soft padded bedding.
We do our best to make every patient’s stay as pleasant as possible – our approach can vary as we care for individuals’ needs & personalities. We find some dogs need peace & quiet, while others crave attention, treats & human contact. Garden strolls might help, or others just need their space.
